We say it in our hero, in our footer, on the announcement bar at the top of every page — we are a non-profit enterprise, and 100% of our profits go to the Perenna Foundation. We mean it. And we think you should be able to see exactly what that means.
What gets paid for first
Before any money is donated, the business has to keep itself alive. That means the plants, the soil, the baskets themselves, the wages of the people who plant them, the cost of running the website, the courier fees on UK orders. We are honest about that — every business has running costs, and we do not pretend otherwise.
What is different is what happens to what is left. After everything is paid, every penny of profit goes to the Foundation. Not a percentage. Not a portion. All of it.
Last summer — by the numbers
- £2,000+ in food support distributed to families in need
- 100+ food packages delivered, both locally and abroad
- Clean water access supported for communities without it
- Help directed to orphans, widowed parents and single-parent families
“Beautiful homes. Lives changed. Both, in equal measure.”
Where we are going next
The plan for this coming year is simple — to double the impact. More food packages. More clean water support. More direct help to families and young people who need it most. Every new subscription, every gift basket, every donation moves us closer to that.
If you have ever wondered whether the cause was real, whether the impact was honest — this is our answer. Beautiful homes can do meaningful work. They already are.
